We feel that our practice is unique as we offer advantages in patient care and efficient service not available in most practices. We constantly strive to meet the needs of not only our patients, but also those of parents, especially those who are working outside the home.
Northwest Dayton Pediatrics, Inc., is the only practice in the area that is routinely open 7 days each week for walk-in hours to benefit those patients already established with our practice who are ill. (See hours schedule for specifics). Our patients rarely have to use the emergency room or urgent care centers because of our extensive office hours.
Our goal is to provide a one stop service whenever possible without sacrificing quality of care. We do x-rays in our Englewood office and take care of minor lacerations that do not require treatment by a plastic surgeon. We do allergy testing and provide allergy extracts and shots. We also have two female pediatricians who can provide gynecologic care to adolescent girls such as pelvic exams, pap smears, birth control pills, and other important services. Another pediatrician, Dr. Pelsor, is a board certified expert in the endocrine diseases of children. This means that patients with diabetes, short stature, hypothyroidism, and other endocrine disorders are cared for in our office.
We have a satellite office in Brookville. Though we have had requests to open offices in other areas, we are committed to providing the best possible medical care to the northwest Dayton area.
